The September 2009 World Alzheimer Report announced that 35 million people worldwide are affected by Alzheimers' or other cognitive diseases. It also projects that this number will double every twenty years. The proportion of people affected nowadays, can reach one in two people over the age of 85 acording to Alzheimer's association.

Alzheimers' is the 6th-leading cause of death in the US, surpassing diabetes. That is why nowadays babyboomers are afraid of cognitive decline.

These cognitive diseases are obviously apart from normal cognitive decline. Nevertheless, more and more people feel concerned and seek to delay brain aging with natural remedies.
